This elegant antique chocolate pot was hand-painted in Japan during the Morimura Brothers era, between 1891 and 1921, and bears the iconic green wreath with “M” mark, signifying Noritake. The pot features a tall, slender form with a graceful curved handle, fitted lid, and spout designed for serving hot chocolate. Its decoration includes a striking black enamel border with floral sprays and heavy gold gilt detailing, a hallmark of Nippon’s export luxury porcelain.
